开启 flashback database后，闪回文件使用的空间达到设定最大值后，是会覆盖掉最早期的闪回数据吗，还是？

v$flash_recovery_area_usage 视图中有一列PERCENT_SPACE_RECLAIMABLE，这部分是可以覆盖的，而PERCENT_SPACE_USED不能覆盖。是根据你的flashback database设置的保留时间。

Flashback Log Space Not Being Reclaimed

Symptoms

1) Flashback logs in flash recovery area aren't purged.
2) Reclaimable space of flashback log is not reflected in v$recovery_file_dest.
(i.e inconsistency between reclaimable space in v$flash_recovery_area_usage and v$recovery_file_dest).
3) Archivelogs disk backups aren't prefered over tape backups for RECOVER, BLOCK RECOVER and FLASHBACK command.
4) Archivedlogs needed by Guaranteed restore point are deleted by BACKUP ARCHVIELOG ... DELETE INPUT command.


Cause

This is due to BUG:5106952  FLASHBACK LOG SPACE NOT BEING RECLAIMED


Issue fixed in Oracle 11.


10.2.0.2 前确实存在不会回收的bug ， 但是10.2.0.3 后修复了。

需要测试 进一步验证

Apply one-off patch for BUG:5106952 / Apply 10.2.0.3 patchset once available

以上one-off补丁和pachset中修改了算法 flashback log的空间回收更敏感了。
