请教/tmp/.oracle & /var/tmp/.oracle 目录下文件的用途及清理w

某11.2.0.4+asm+standalone+aix6.1数据库，因为/tmp目录满，清理了其下所有文件，包括/tmp/.oracle（此目录倒是保留了，只删了其中文件）。之后asm实例异常。
后来bing到有文章说类似的经验发生在/var/tmp/.oracle目录
想请教：这两目录下的文件们，到底干什么用的，什么情况下才可以清理

另外也注意到，/tmp目录下总会有一堆oracle用户的文件，大多久未更新。因为机制不清，现在连它们也不敢清了 :-)

ODM FINDING:
For Oracle Restart (Grid Infrastructure Standalone), it's possible that network socket files have unexpected or inappropriate ownership or
permission. Note that the location of the socket files will be /tmp/.oracle or /var/tmp/.oracle or /usr/tmp/.oracle. The following ownership
(for example) will cause this issue:
srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Dec 4 19:22 sCRSD_UI_SOCKET


Oracle Clusterware(CRS or Grid Infrastructure) network socket files are located in /tmp/.oracle, /usr/tmp/.oracle or /var/tmp/.oracle, it's important not
to touch them manually unless instructed by Oracle Support to keep clusterware healthy.
Other Oracle component may also stores socket files in the same directory, for example, Oracle Net Listener, Cluster Healthy Monitor (aka CHM or
IPD/OS which became part of Oracle Clusterware in 11.2.0.2 on certain platform)
Depend on whether it's standalone or cluster installation, same name socket file can be owned differently.

遇到一个客户，清理tmp下面文件，删除了.oracle导致rac down机
