关于IMP的报错

导入语句如下：
imp dqetl/xxx FROMUSER=dqetl TOUSER=dqetl file=/backup/dqetl20140221.dmp log=dqetl20140221.log commit=y buffer=2048000 statistics=none ignore=y
报错信息：

buffer=2048000 也仅有2M大小而已，buffer给到50M左右试试 修改了 buffer大小
imp dqetl/xxx FROMUSER=dqetl TOUSER=dqetl file=/backup/dqetl20140221.dmp log=dqetl20140221.log commit=y buffer=51200000 statistics=none ignore=y

修改了 buffer大小

exp 的命令贴出来

对方数据库版本 11.2.0.3，而且使用PL/sql developer 程序自带的exp功能导出的。没有日志。
我的数据库版本10.2.0.5
对方导出的数据表只有47W左右的数据。为什么变成了700W条呢。（此处排除了导错文件的可能）而且数据里面有好多整条记录都是空的记录。 IMP-00032: SQL statement exceeded buffer length

1、版本的差异导致的报错？
2、能不能是导出的这个文件有问题？
这两个问题如何来验证呢？
有可能是dmp文件有问题，如果需要，可以发我dmp文件，我给你分析下
