The objective of this handbook is to provide guidelines, tips, and other useful information expected to assist enterprise data architect when designing and implementing enterprise-wide data consistency solutions using Oracle GoldenGate Veridata product.   This handbook is expected to be used in conjunction with Oracle GoldenGate Veridata Administrator Guide, Veridata Online help and Veridata white paper titled - Ensuring Data Consistency with Oracle GoldenGate Veridata.
The latest version of Veridata is 11.2.1.0 and it can be downloaded from http://edelivery.oracle.com Appendix – A  provides a list of resources related to Veridata.  
Veridata Installation       
Veridata Server Installation
The Veridata installer delivers multiple components: the Veridata web server, Web Components, Vericom, and other server related components.  Starting with 11.2.1.0 both the web server and Veridata server are combined into one component – Veridata web server. We will refer to the Veridata web server as Veridata server throughout this document.
The installation process is interactive and requires user input including information about the Veridata server installation directory, the shared directory location (used by the Veridata server and Vericom), and the database connection information to create the Veridata repository.  There are options to install Veridata silently from the command line as well.
