KEY OBJECTIVE
Co-work with Oracle Japan, responsible for Oracle database products QA and POC certification in Japanese environment.
1. Installation/Upgrade testing for Oracle database products including RAC/ASM/HA/Data Guard
2. Evaluate new features quality and become technique readiness, provide user guide and training materials to Oracle Japan
3. Function testing for Timesten, Goldengate, Oracle Data Integrator, database Security products,
4. Proof of concept certification for Oracle Server products including database migration and upgrade, GoldenGate, Exadata etc
5. Proof of concept certification for Oracle Big Data solution
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement installation/regression test suites for Oracle Database products.
• Execute test suites on various OS environment to discover defects in the products.
• Cooperate with global development teams to track and fix the bugs.
• Evaluate new features of product and writing relevant document or provide seminar
• Provide technical support to Oracle Japan pre-sales or partners
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING
• BS or above in computer science or equivalent
• Extensive experience with Unix platforms
• Solid Oracle database experience
• DB2 and Sybase experience will be a big plus
• DWH experience will be a plus
• Good English communication skills, especially in writing, listening and verbal. CET 6 or equivalent.
• Japanese will be a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Exhibits good project planning and time management skills
• Self-Motivated, Thorough and creative.
• Good team player
